Beautiful lakefront home with Private Dock and jet ski dock on ****Year Round DEEP Water*** on the Norris Lake shoreline. During the typical summer, the water at the dock is 35 feet deep. There is plenty of room to park your big boats and swim all around the dock area. In the late fall and winter, the water is approximately 15 to 20 feet deep.
Main Level (street level) has the kitchen overlooking the dining room and great room. A master, queen suite with TV and full bathroom provides convenience of no steps required. Upper Level offers two queen bedrooms with private sink/vanities. Both bedrooms straddle a Jack-n-Jill bathroom. Loft Level (2 levels up from Main Level) has full over full bunk beds. Lower Level provides second TV room, full bathroom, laundry room, spare refrigerator and two bedrooms (#5 & #6).
Your private hot tub overlooking the lake soaks the overworked muscles after playing on the water all day :) **prior to each rental, we empty, clean, and refill the hot tub.
Two decks provide a propane grill (free propane & basic grilling tools) and plenty of seating overlooking the lake. An observation deck built right on the shoreline provides a perfect reading room, tanning booth, and evening campfires. For low-cost firewood delivery, text the number posted in the home. You bring the pokers & skewers.
Your private dock provides a 10x24 foot covered boat slip, an uncovered slip, jet ski dock, and a HUGE swimming platform w/ ladder and seating. Large groups should bring some fold up chairs. You bring all the floatation toys. The dock does not have electricity. The boat ramp is 100 yards from the cabin. Trailers are parked inside our gated community in the designated parking area.
Need watercraft rentals? Reach out to NorrisLakeWaterSports. They deliver to your dock (ask for “Bertke 10% Discount”) or OasisNorrisLake. They deliver to your dock. The closest marina options are Sugar Hollow, Shanghai Marina, and Springs Dock.
This neighborhood has a small, free, community pool with kiddie pool 1/3 mile from the cabin up a very steep street. . It is clean but nothing fancy. There are no lifeguards or concessions. You don't need a pass. Free parking is available.

Summary: Overall we loved our stay and visiting with each other. There are 100+ steps to the dock, so some of our older folks couldn't go down to it which was disappointing - pictures don't really show the full amount of stairs. Those of us who went down to the dock really loved being so near the lake - some even did some paddle boarding. There were plenty of beds - sometimes the beds overtook the room (ie. not much room for moving around in some of the rooms). Though we knew going in, there isn't much dining seating inside for a large group (and we had rain). There were plenty of dishes and pots and pans for our crowd. I contacted the 'property manager' via text and didn't get a reply. The upper bed of the bunk in the loft has no way to access it (unless you can lift a child up onto it). The property manager sent me an email/message indicated he never heard this before. Maybe others just didn't need to use it. But we had planned to use it, so one person was on the couch (instead of doubling up full size adults in a double bed). That upper bed needs a ladder to access from the side of the bed (as there is no room on the ends). Once in the top bunk anyone would not be able to even sit up (lie down only). Very deceiving in picture. The upper bunk bed in the lower level was very wobbly so we had to move it against the wall to make sure it wouldn't wobble all night. It could use some 'tightening'.
