Negative: There was no toilet paper in the property, no soap, no shower gel, no basic amenities. When i asked the host he went and bought a soap bar and some toilet paper. He said this is self catered we dont normally provide this. I totally disagree cause that is the least to expect is toilet paper and soap. There was a half used shower gel tiny plastic bottle (10ml) that was clearly already half used. The place also smelled very bad internally and had bad ventilation despite me specifically requesting air freshening the place before we come. This was clearly ignored. Also the check in process was very strange. After i booked and paid which was non refundable, the host sent me a message to say i need to pay 2000 AED cash deposit. No credit card hold facility which was major inconvenience cause i was driving from long distance through traffic and i didnt have cash so had to go through traffic to find atm. Checkout was as bad where first thing they asked me inconveniently to remove my car from the parking slot prior to give me my deposit back. Again everything was so unprofessionally handled. Stay could have been better and apartment was nice but very badly managed and owners need to know this
