With a great back deck and step down to a yard. Amazing lake view and a firepit for making memories with smores and stories. This adorable cabin offers ice fishing in the winter and paddle boating, boarding, Kayaking and canoeing, a boat with a trolling motor and fishing in the spring, summer and fall.
The cabin is right in the middle of the incredible outdoor playground of Colorado's San Juan Mountains. The national forest offers hiking, biking, down hill and cross country skiing, sledding, tubing, snowmobiling, golf, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, Jeep & ATV rentals and of course amazingly beautiful site seeing. Located just about 5 minutes from the recreation center with indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, work out equipment, and many other things to offer. The Pagosa Springs golf club is located off of Pines club drive with amazing mountain views from every hole. Shopping and dining are near as well. Also a perfect place to just relax, enjoy a drink on the deck while you take in views and watch the abundance of wildlife.

Summary: This home is an updated A frame. It had a loft added at some point. The upstairs bathroom has the toilet and shower in a corner of the loft and the sink is in the bedroom area. Loft toilet/shower area has no door. Like most homes we have rented in cold climates heating depends on hot air rising to heat upper levels. Unfortunately this is neither efficient nor comfortable for people on either level. We experienced a shower leak from the second floor shower into the first floor bathroom sink area. This happened on the second day of our stay which required us to make use of a single shower for 7 people for the rest of our stay. The owner credited $50 for the inconvenience. In general the house is in a good location, has a well stocked kitchen and a good washer and dryer. Lighting in general is not as good as it should be. There was plenty of hot water for showering and plenty of towels and toilet paper. If items needing repair are completed it will make for a pleasant stay. One thing that has been commented on before is how hard the beds are. This really needs to be addressed. The owner was responsive.
