5 Bedroom Villa in Hollum

Our lovely and luxurious dune villa 'Sela' is overlooking the Engelsman dune, one of the highest dunes of Ameland Island. When dining in the evening, the light of the lighthouse will ensure a stunning island feeling. A fresh dive in the morning is available at the very rustic beach at the other side of the dunes (about 15 minutes walk trough beautiful nature).
We totally refurbished our house in 2017. Our house has 5 bedrooms, a great living room with a (gas) fireplace, a cosy kitchen with kitchen island, a beautiful dining room and a ‘spa’ with sauna and tanning bed.
What we like about it? The 'Total Island Feeling'! Just getting away from the ‘big world’ for a moment!
Our caretakers couple Rick and Ronja are living on Ameland and they will make sure your stay will be a pleasant joy!

Summary: We were two families (4 adults and 4 children) that stayed at the villa for a long weekend. The house was cosy but comfortable and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The house is especially equipped for young children (including crib, toys, high chair, kids kitchen wear). The house is about a 15-20 minute walk (with children) to the beach or faster if you take the bike on the path. The landscape is absolutely stunning and the village of Hollum is quaint, charming and has everything you would need for food, wine, restaurants and shopping. The house was clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the sauna so can’t comment on this amenity. At the owner’s recommendation we hired Chef Danny and Sommelier Egbert who catered a lovely dinner for the adults at the house. We highly recommend this.
