GREAT IN-TOWN LOCATION on the coveted western, historic side of town. Being only 2 blocks from West Elk Avenue (the historic main street with boutique shops and wonderful restaurants), steps away from the free bus shuttle to Mt. Crested Butte, a few blocks from multiple trails, and only 5 minutes from the Arts Center, and playground -- no car is required when you stay in this perfect location! It is in the middle of it all, yet very quiet!
The upper floor has an open living space with vaulted ceilings over the living room and GOURMET KITCHEN. This includes stainless steel appliances and island/table, eco-friendly paperstone counters, a deep sink, a Nespresso coffee machine, French Press, a filter coffee machine (we like our coffee!), and everything else a chef could desire! Enjoy your delicious coffee in the cozy living room, relaxing while taking in the amazing mountain views from the studded leather couch or chaise lounge. The living room is outfitted with a Smart TV w Netflix and Direct TV, Sonos soundbar, FASTEST WIRELESS INTERNET in CB, and a cozy fireplace. Off the living room is the deck for catching some rays, drinking a glass of wine, and admiring towering Mt. CB and the beautiful views; the cowboy bedroom with 2 twin beds; and the slate-tiled bathroom with shower (also located on the upper floor).
The beautifully furnished, inviting master bedroom with a pillow top mattress, memory foam topper, luxury linens, down comforter and pillows, Afghani dowry chests and block prints, and an exquisite travertine tiled bathroom with a Chinese Bedouin vanity, antique ceiling tiled mirror, big fluffy towels, and a relaxing STEAM SHOWER all located on the lower floor.
Under the amazing mountains, you can dine and relax on the outdoor patio (summer), complete with a Weber BBQ, patio table and chairs, red market umbrella, and roast marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit (outdoor furniture only available from mid-June to mid-September).

Summary: Location - IDEAL! So close to ski bus, easy walk to everything in town.Host - Spot On! Communication was timely, accurate and plentiful. There are helpful notes posted around the house too. Accommodations - Felt like home! The cozy carriage home had everything we needed; the bedding was super comfortable and everything we used worked with no issues. The home is decorated beautifully! While it was a little smaller in size than would have been ideal , the hosts did an amazing job providing all amenities and once we settled in,we forgot how close the quarters were. Thank you and we hope to return!
