Positive: Character and location. Having a choice of filter or pod coffeemakers was helpful. Availability of private parking.
Negative: The original email said we would receive the lock box code a few days in advance. It would have been more helpful, and avoided a number of messages, if it had said the code would only be available once the property was available on the day of arrival. The host could have responded more promptly to my enquiries about this. The kitchen facilities were dusty and the light over the sink didn’t work. One was conscious of the macerating toilet nearly all the time. The private parking wasn’t actually secured. Obviously this was not the fault of the property owner but we did have an attempted break-in resulting in a broken car window.
Summary: Spoiled by incident in the car park but otherwise a good stay.
