Casa Mamama is a lovingly restored 2 bedroom home, very conveniently located on Calle 66 in Merida's Centro. It is situated almost centrally about 2 blocks from Parques San Sebastian, La Ermita and San Juan with their historic churches and mercados where you will find fresh, local fruits, vegetables and herbs year round. These historic parks also plays hosts to free weekly music and entertainment, as well as several small fairs throughout the year.
This wonderful home has been tastefully appointed with furniture and artwork to create a warm and relaxing place to spend days unwinding from sightseeing and exploring all that this colonial city and the surrounding areas have to offer. The colonial facade hints at the high ceilings and archways inside, which have come to symbolize the homes in Centro. Setting itself apart from many homes, this house has air conditioning through out the entire home, with newly added top line/BTU AC units.
The first two rooms, the living and the kitchen/dining room, are perfect for both relaxing and entertaining friends; both with air conditioning. The open plan kitchen and dining areas offering views of the courtyard and pool just outside. And the pool is just big enough to relax in with nice jet flow of water. A large bedroom with two queen beds and an insuite bathroom can also be found in the front of the home, and contains one of the four a/c units.
The central courtyard is the perfect relaxation and social area with its dipping pool and tropical plants. Invite your new friends for a dip in the pool or gather for late night drinks. There is plenty of room here to entertain or relax by the pool while taking in the tropical sun.
At the rear of the property sits the king casita which houses the spacious second bedroom and bathroom suite. The casita enables independent spaces for visiting friends or family with a king sized bed and garden view from bathroom. A large and separate laundry room/bodega is just next to this area. And this casita also contains the last of the four a/c units.

Security deposit is $250.00 due at time of booking! One time cleaning due at time of booking. Additional cleanings for extended stays paid to house managers at time of checkin is negotiated per cleaning by renter.
