Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The games room, Goldilocks themed bedroom and fire pit were a hit. The river nearby was fun for paddling. The owners had put a lot of thought into the facilities.
Negative: Unfortunately the management company Vacasa hadn’t fully cleaned. There were insects and bird droppings on the main floor and peanuts /dust behind the master bed. They need to do a deep clean. The hot tub smelled of mold and when I asked them they just said it was clean water. I doubt they’d put enough disinfectant in it even if it was fresh water. We had a power cut for 2 hours and without a generator this means no hot water or cooking other than a gas grill outside.
Summary: Peaceful, family place, shame it’s managed by Vacasa
