The space
The cabin is professionally cleaned with the highest classification of disinfectants recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization to sanitize all surfaces. All linens are professionally laundered.
Get off the beaten track and enjoy your vacation at our home away from home. With the national forest as your backyard, you can breathe the fresh mountain air and enjoy the privacy and tranquility of being close by nature. With room for 9 guests, this cabin is the prefect getaway for families and groups. We have included all the amenities and comforts you would find at home including a fully equipped kitchen, three large screen SMART TVs, Wi-fi, comfortable beds, laundry room with washer and dryer, and outdoor space for dining and entertaining. As a bonus you can enjoy your evenings under the stars around a campfire (summer time only). We are 10 miles as well as a 10 minutes drive from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, one of the most amazing National Parks, and close to many other attractions in Island Park. Enjoy your vacation at our cabin! Our cleaning service will take care of garbage removal and all cleanings. So we will NOT be asking you to take your garbage to the landfill, and we will NOT ask you to clean all the sheets and towels or take them off the beds before you leave. Our main goal is for you to have all the time to enjoy your vacation! Please note that Island Park Landfill is very busy during the summers. However, we collect your garbage unlike many other rentals which saves a great deal of hassle.
Guest access
Guests have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces for dining and entertaining. There is a spacious and fully stocked kitchen for cooking, as well as a large porch with a BBQ and outdoor dining area. There are two common areas, a living and dining room downstairs and another living area upstairs, plenty of room for larger groups of 10. For your adventures into Yellowstone and the surrounding areas we have included binoculars, trail guides and a high-resolution camera for you to use to take pictures of the amazing animals, wildlife and features in Yellowstone as well as to capture special memories together with family and friends. For children, we have toys, games and books as well as a portable crib, play mat, and high chair for our smallest guests. We make sure all our guests, big and small, have a fun and memorable trip!
House Rules: We appreciate you as a guest and we want you to enjoy your stay as well as allow others to enjoy the use of the cabin as well. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We kindly ask you to remember that some neighbors live in the area year round and this is their permanent home. Please be respectful and enjoy the property, nature, and scenery. 1. Unauthorized house guests are explicitly not allowed. All guests must be declared prior to check in. If there is any change in guest reservations, please contact us immediately. 2. External Cameras and Internet. All external cameras are for the security of the property. Cameras are only used on the exterior of the property with one inside the kitchen that will be turned off upon arrival. This is for the security of the cabin to ensure uninvited guest do not enter. Removal or disabling internet and or cameras is strict violation of house rules. If you disable the internet or external cameras you will be charged an additional $150 fee to re-enable and calibrate devices. 3. You must have a valid working phone number to keep your reservation. The person on the reservation must be available for check in. If the phone number on the reservation is disconnected or inaccessible your reservation maybe cancelled at our discretion. 4. Early Check in Fee a. If early check in is available on the day in question you may be able to have it by 1 p.m. for an additional $75. Early check in must be confirmed prior to the reservation date and cannot be guaranteed. 5. Checkout a. Trash i. Please place all of your trash in the green cans outside the cabin. Trash is picked up twice weekly in the summer. If for any reason there is excessive trash DO NOT leave your trash outside. Excessive trash must be taken to the city dump at 3970 Yale Kilgore, Island Park, ID 83433. In the event that you are hunting and have animal carcasses these must be processed off site and the county requires that animal waste is deposited in the landfill immediately. b. Checkout Time i. Checkout time is 10:30 a.m. MST ii. Late checkouts after 11:00 a.m. MST may be charged an additional $75. iii. Late checkouts after 1:30 p.m. MST will be charged an additional $250. c. Cleaning i. Please collect all dishes and place them in the dishwasher prior to leaving. Dishwasher soap can be found under the kitchen sink. ii. Place all used sheets and towels in the clothes washer. If there is not enough space in the clothes washer please place sheets and towels directly in front of the clothes washer before checkout. iii. Excessive dirty place an additional $100 cleaning fee. Specific examples include dirty dishes left throughout the property. d. Smoking inside the cabin is explicitly prohibited. Remediation for smoking will be an additional cleaning fee of $100. Additional charges may be assessed specific for cleaning including but not limited to carpet cleaning, cleaning drapes, and furniture cleaning. e. Unauthorized pets are not allowed. Guests expect the property to have been a "no pet" environment. Other guests may have allergies to animal dander that is not easily cleaned or removed. An additional cleaning fee of $100 will be assessed for each pet not authorized per day. Additional cleaning fees may be assessed as well. Island Park does have animal kennels and your welcome to bring your animal on the property site but not within the actual cabin. f. If you have a complaint about cleanliness, health or hazard you give management the right to enter to remedy the property immediately by allowing management or their authorized agent to rectify the situation. Not giving access is a violation of house rules and your reservation will be cancelled. g. Obey all local speed limits. The local speed limit in the HOA is 10 m.p.h. Violation of this rule that is reported to the HOA will result in a fine of $50 per occurrence. h. Parking - No parking is allowed on streets or roads. Guests may park immediately next to the property or anywhere on the immediate property that is away from the road. i. Quiet Hours - Please be respectful to the local residents - this is their full time home. Quiet hours are between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. Please be considerate of other guests and neighbors. The area is very serene and quiet - please enjoy the experience of nature close to Henry's Lake and Yellowstone National Park. 6. Please be ANIMAL AWARE. The area does have wild animals including, foxes, elk, deer, skunks, badgers, racoons, bats, and grizzly bears. Leaving trash or pet food outside of the property may attract animals. The property does have cans of bear spray for use on the property which are located in the kitchen cabinets above the window. If you see wild animals - please do not attempt to interact with them. By definition these animals are "wild" and your interaction may not be fulfilling, engaging, and beautiful. If you see wildlife get into trash or too close to humans please reach out to your host. If you see grizzly bears interacting with humans please avoid them. We love our guests and we want to see enjoy Yellowstone and return to your home whole, intact, and undamaged.
