If you are planning to attend a function at the Broadmoor, this location is ideal for you with less than a half mile to its entrance. In your downtime or when the rest of the family wants something fun to do there are wide variety of activities at the Broadmoor that include everything from walking trails and golf, to falconry classes, zip-lining and fly fishing.
One of the most notable points of interest in the area is Pikes Peak. The drive to the entrance gate of Pikes Peak Park is approximately 15 min. The drive to the top of Pikes Peak and take in the views of the great Rocky Mountains on one side and the Great Plains on the other. For real adventurers you can hike up Barr Trail (13 miles) to the top of Pikes Peak. The base of Barr Trail is also located in Manitou Springs next to the old Cog railway station (no longer in service).
