Idyllic getaway on gorgeous Samish Island (drive-on, no ferry!). This waterfront home sits next to historic Padilla Oyster Cannery, facing due south on Padilla Bay. 1 bedroom, 1 bath paradise has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. All new multi-tiered decks and private beach are perfect for listening to the waves and taking in the amazing views! Multiple exterior seating areas to enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee. Beach and seaside firepit create romantic ocean side evenings. Home and yard were both recently remodeled with no detail left untouched - the property is top notch throughout.

Living room - features a large front window to take advantage of the stunning view. Unwind on the new comfortable sectional sofa. Enjoy a meal or a round of cards at the dining table & chairs. Warm up on a chilly evening and take in the ambience of the propane fireplace. The Smart TV, selection of board games, and binoculars for bird watching provide hours of entertainment. The Cannery Cottage is embellished with a classy seaside motif – it is the ideal oceanfront getaway.
Kitchen - large galley kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools you need to prepare amazing meals.
Bedroom – rest and relax on the new king size mattress (very comfortable!). Smart TV, ceiling and bedside fans and blackout shades round out the soothing décor.
Bathroom – pamper yourself in the large glass wall shower with 2 rain style shower heads & wands. Heated tile floor and large vanity with ample lighting create the ultimate ‘spa’ experience.
Located between Seattle, WA and Vancouver B.C Samish Island is a drive on island (no ferry!) considered one of the inner San Juan Islands. Ideal in-season fishing with crab, clams, salmon, oysters and bottom fish. Nearby sanctuaries are an extremely popular destination for bird watchers with an abundance of eagles, hawks, heron and more. The quaint town of Edison (10 minute drive) has been heralded as a foodie's delight! Dining options include The Old Edison, The Longhorn Saloon, Terramar Brewstillery, Brando’s Barbecue, Cobb & Cork and several more (see photos for additional locations).
If you want to venture a little further, other local attractions include Bayview State Park, Chuckanut Manor, Skagit Casino, and Swinomish Casino. Skagit County features multiple festivals and events: The La Conner Daffodil Fest (March), Skagit Valley Tulip Fest (April), Anacortes Boat & Yacht Show (May), Berry Dairy Days (June), Summer Sips (June), Highland Games (July) and the Skagit County Fair (August).
