The riverside house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, large open kitchen, mini split air conditioning units in each bedroom and 1 in the living room. Along with the large waterside patio with fire pit to enjoy the outdoors. The back house, newly remodeled, has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, open kitchen/dining/living room area.. The garage building with a space to work out in with weights and yoga mats and a ping pong table. Enjoy the beautiful chain of lakes or just spend time watching the boats go by. As part of the Chain of Lakes, you can boat from one lake to another (over 60 miles of waterway) .
You are about a 25 minutes drive to the Traverse City Horse Show grounds, 35 minutes to Traverse City, (home of the National Cherry Festival & the Traverse City Film Festival, as well as being a well know foody town) And don't forget to visit the unique shops in Alden, Elk Rapids & Bellaire. or golfing at one of the area's world-class courses, sampling craft beers at Short's Brewery or wine tasting at many nearby vineyards, If you're into biking, bring your bikes and enjoy the trails at nearby Glacial Hills Natural Area in Bellaire and the TART trails in Traverse City,. The location of this home is also ideal for day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland, Northport, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Mackinac Island, all within a pleasant hour or two drive.
