Positive: The place is very close to the beach. You can get a good parking spot if you manage to get in before the company vans parking there.
Negative: The reality doesn´t reflect the advertised pictures on the Booking website. There isn´t a single leaf of grass, only gravel, concrete and some cobblestone tiles. Instead, there is a new building next door with rather noisy people. The place is advertised as non-smoking, but the building, including the apartment is constantly filled with cigarette smoke. The place is used for accommodating workers (based on their company clothes and vans), which is not my idea of a family holiday. We are not fussy, but we chose the place because of the welcoming atmosphere of the Booking pictures. However, we had to clean the surfaces and the fridge upon our arrival. The bedside tables were dusty and we found a grimy sponge and cloth inside a not very clean sink. There was even a lamp with a broken bulb full of dust. If somebody had bothered cleaning the room, they would have noticed (both lamps were on one bedside table). There isn´t a coffee maker, not even a kettle, just a ‘Turkish coffee pot‘, so we just boiled water on the stove. It was OK, but we expected something else based on the description. I must say the sheets were spotless clean. However, even in this type of accommodation we always got at least one change of towels and linen during a 10-night stay. Here, there was none. Perhaps we should have asked, but we only existed for the owners on day 1 and day 11, even though they were nice. We don´t speak Croatian so that may have been the reason. We used a mixture of Slovak and Croatian as English didn’t ´t really help (I don´t blame the owners, it is out fault that we don´t speak their language). As for the Internet, I don´t understand how somebody can complain it is bad, because there is NONE. We had to use data. We were thinking of coming again, but changed our mind after the first day.
