3 Bedroom House in Narragansett
At 8 Haven Street, we like to say the only thing missing is an “e” because the property is truly a piece of heaven. This newly listed, 3-bedroom house offers vacationers complete convenience, both with its location and its relaxing, at-home feel. Start your day with a short (half-mile) walk to Narrow River, where you can launch paddle boards or a kayak (both on property and available to use) and go for a lovely spin on the water. Or if you're feeling lucky, head to Middlebridge and try to reel in some fish. Don't stay too long, though, because the beaches in Narragansett are the town's true crown jewel, and you'll want to find a spot early. The good news: You won't have to deal with much traffic at all. 8 Haven is a direct, 2-minute drive (and just a little longer on bike) to Narragansett Town Beach, our favorite in the region, while several other popular beaches (Scarborough, kid-friendly Salty Brine) and attractions (Point Judith, Block Island Ferry) are just 10 or 15 minutes away. Renters are welcome to use the beach chairs (8), boogie boards (2) and umbrella (1) on property because who wants to bring all that stuff on vacation, right?
Although the activities nearby are endless, sometimes the best part of vacation is just relaxing at home, and 8 Haven allows you to switch into “Chill Mode” easily and thoroughly. The inside of this freshly painted, immaculate house screams beach property. Upon walking in, there is a 4-chair lounge where you can have a drink or play a board/card game while listening to music new and old from the record player. The living room has ample seating that includes a large, L-shaped couch and a hanging chair from a wooden beam atop the ceiling that fits children and adults and gives the space a unique feel. There is a 60-inch, wall-mounted smart TV and a stocked game cabinet beneath it. The dining room seats 8 people comfortably and includes a bar cabinet. The spacious, fully-stocked kitchen also includes seating (3 stools) and basic appliances. There are three bedrooms, each with a wall-mounted, smart TV. The first bedroom has a bunk bed (twin on top of queen) perfect for siblings and/or friends and includes closet and a full bureau. The second has a queen with bureau, side tables, and closet. The third has a king with bureau, nightstands and closet The home has hardwood floors throughout, and is decorated with odes to the beautiful state of Rhode Island. Artwork includes framed pictures of Ocean State staples like Del's lemonade and Chair 6 at Narragansett Beach, nods to nautical themes, beach staples and town maps, and our favorite -- the trunk of a light-blue, vintage Volkswagen beetle that hangs above the dining room bar cabinet and features backlighting which truly makes it shine at night. These all showcase the beach theme of the rental. The downstairs is finished with a bathroom, although it is not furnished. There is a foosball table for gaming.
The backyard is our favorite part of 8 Haven. Fenced in with plenty of space, the setting offers a sense of privacy that few rentals in Narragansett can offer. There's a Weber Spirit for grilling, a 10-person patio table with full umbrella for eating, and a sectional, outdoor couch for relaxing as well as Bluetooth speakers. Feeling a little sleepy? Go catch a nap in the tree hammock. Feeling a little restless? Go for a ride on the tree swing. If games are your thing, the yard is the perfect size for throwing a frisbee, having a catch or kicking the ball around. Or if you want more people involved, set up the volleyball net for a game or enjoy a few innings of Wiffle ball. We know vacations don't happen often enough, which is why we strive for 8 Haven to be the perfect spot for when they do. It truly is a little piece of heaven in one of the greatest areas of our beloved Ocean State. We hope you can see why soon. A well behaved dog is considered with prior approval from Sunrise Properties for an additional $100 pet fee.
