Impressive castle located on a small hill near the historic center of the city but surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and paths ideal for trekking! Free Wifi always available throughout the hotel. Private parking inside the electric gate of the property (about 50 cars) just outside the drawbridge from which you enter the castle walls. Panoramic position between Siena and Florence a few steps from Chianti and San Gimignano!
The castle is particularly suitable for weddings and parties thanks to the large internal hall (100 square meters) that can accommodate up to 90 people. In fact it is possible to prepare the living room with 9 round tables each of 10 people. The living room is very impressive, with a large fireplace in the center, high ceilings and accessible directly from the inner courtyard of the castle and the library. In this way, in case of rain, guests will not have to spend money on the rental of tensostructures as they can do the ceremony in the halls of the castle specially set up. During the summer instead for the wedding dinner will be set up the large court of the castle, also this able to accommodate up to 90 people. Also from the court you will have access to a real Church, very small, where sometimes our guests decide to perform unofficial marriages. Possibility to set up an open bar and eventually the rear panoramic terrace for cutting the cake or for an aperitif. Also from the court you can also access a large kitchen ideal to be used by catering during the event. We can suggest Catering, Dj, animation and other trusted companies that work habitually at events and weddings at our facility. In addition, the nearest train station is just 1 km from the Castle. Eventually we can offer a shuttle service for guests (for the day of the event). For other holiday days we recommend the rental of cars for guests staying at the Castle. Taxis are very expensive and difficult to find outside the big cities. Although the Castle is located a few meters from the historic center of the country as the crow flies. however we are in the countryside and on a hill. So the car is necessary for not having problems moving around at any time and with comfort. The car is also the cheapest and easiest way to discover Tuscany!
The Castle consists of 4 apartments and a medieval tower but is rented exclusively for a total of 10 beds in 5 double rooms. In total you will find 7 bathrooms, one in each of the apartments and in the tower. Two more bathrooms (no shower) in the lounge where usually (if provided for by your stay) are held receptions, weddings and other types of events. 2 Apartments are located on the ground floor of the castle with independent entrance directly from the large garden and from the rear panoramic terrace. 2 on the first floor. La Torre is located in a detached position, a few meters from the main building, in the pool area.
The apartments that make up the Castle:
- IL VERONI: Located on the first floor and equipped with air conditioning. The apartment consists of a large bright living room with a charming fireplace, sofas and a large table ideal to accommodate at least 10 people to eat. Bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and sink, hairdryer. Equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, small oven, moka coffee maker, 4 cooking stoves. A spacious double bedroom with a queen size bed and wardrobe. Two large panoramic terraces are also part of this apartment. One overlooking the picturesque courtyard of the Castle and a panoramic portico overlooking the surrounding hills and vineyards. This apartment and its terraces are the ideal place to gather the group's moments during your stay: dinners, lunches, etc. Also in the terraces you will find tables and chairs for 10 people.
- LA LIMONAIA: Located on the ground floor with independent entrance directly from the back garden / terrace of the castle. The apartment has a small private terrace and a unique garden located above the castle walls that it shares with another of the 5 apartments. Air conditioning both in the living room and in the bedroom. La Limonaia consists of a bathroom with shower, toilet, hairdryer, bidet and sink. A kitchen equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, kettle, 4 burners for cooking. A double bedroom with a queen size bed and a sitting area with sofas and table.
- LA LOGGIA: This apartment is also located on the ground floor with an independent entrance from the garden on the walls which also leads to the Limonaia. Conditioned air. Living room and kitchen are part of the same environment. In the kitchen available to guests: oven, 4 induction plates for cooking, moka coffee maker, fridge and freezer. Double bedroom with queen size bed, bathroom with shower. In each bathroom of each apartment guests will find a hair dryer available.
- IL CANTUCCIO: On the first floor of the castle. Adjacent to the Veroni apartment. You access these two apartments by a door that is located under the loggia of the internal courtyard of the Castle. Consider that all the apartments are very close to each other.
Il Cantuccio has a kitchenette with microwave, kettle, fridge, freezer, coffee moka and 4 burners for cooking. Conditioned air. Bathroom with shower, living room, bedroom with queen size bed. Panoramic view on San Gimignano from all the windows of this apartment.
- THE TOWER: The tower is separated from the main block of the castle. However, it is located a few meters from the internal courtyard. The tower is located right next to the pool! Here guests will not find a kitchen. The room with a French bed is located on the ground floor of the tower. Upstairs you will find a bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The Torre bathroom has no bidet. Conditioned air. Independent entrance and panoramic view.
The large swimming pool, like the rest of the castle's gardens, is located above the walls and partly surrounded by olive trees and a comfortable gazebo. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for guests.
The castle is rented as the only villa even if structurally it is divided into 5 apartments. I live in a sixth apartment adjacent to the main building of the castle but completely independent. Guests will share with me only the inner courtyard of the castle and the pool area. I will always be available for any need or suggestion always respecting the privacy of my guests.

The price does not include:
- Tourist tax: 1.5 Euro per night per person for the first 5 nights of a stay.
- In case of events or weddings the price does not include the location fee of 300 Euro (In total) for the exceptional cleaning after the event and for the assistance of the staff to your catering etc.
