4 Bedroom Place in Cotignac
Located in the hills, 10 minutes from Cotignac, this ancient "countryside" of olive harvesters overlooks 5 hectares of olive tree restanques. It consists of a main part of 150m² and an annex (bedroom + bathroom) of 25m².
The view is stunning, the light is beautiful, and the calm is absolute.
The house is ideal for 7-8 people, 2 couples and 3 or 4 children.
Rental from Saturday to Saturday in season.
The space
The atmosphere of the house is quite rustic. The interior was designed in the 1970s by a famous photographer who made it his main home.
We come here to relax, walk in the olive trees, enjoy the sun, the cicada singing and the pool.
Apart from the annex, the spaces are quite open. The air ... and the sound circulate :)
The house has a particular atmosphere, very relaxing and conducive to meditation.
The house has the following facilities: dishwasher, washing machine, wifi.
You will be welcomed by Laurence who manages the concierge of our house and who lives a few tens of kilometers from here. She will introduce you to the house and will be able to make herself available quickly in case of a problem or question.
The swimming pool:
This is an above ground swimming pool, Zodiac Hippo 65 of 13.5m x 4.5m.
The depth is 1.10m. It's made for swimming.
The "socks" on the sides are so huge that you can lie there and sunbathe by the water. The view from the pool is incredible. But since it is massive and made of plastic, we have decided to move it a few tens of meters away from the house so as not to have it in the field of vision!
During the summer a maintenance and cleaning of the pool will be carried out before any rental and then weekly. If you rent the house for several weeks we will agree with you on a time when you are least disturbed.
There is no barbecue because you have to be very careful with the fire in Provence....
Bedding will be provided but we ask that you bring your bath towels.
The air room (chamber 2) does not actually close, it is a double height room where mattresses can be placed on the floor (we provide 2). It's a perfect play for the kids.
Possibility to add tents on the pitch. Please tell us the exact number of guests.
Guest access
The house is accessed via a dirt and pebble road 2 km long.
Access is not easy. The path is practicable by a classic car but there are narrower passages where you can rub small branches.
At the end of the trail, next to the house there is a small parking lot to park 3 cars.
Other things to note
This is the first year we rent the house. Until 2020, it was a photographer's home. Adjustments may need to be made.
