Welcome to the Winterhaven Romantic Cabin! Thank you for taking the time to consider this beautiful location! This cabin is nestled in the heart of Lakes of the North and is very secluded being surrounded by mature trees and located off the beaten path. If you're looking for a quiet get away, this place is it!
With a large backyard area, you'll find access to a common area with some walking areas or a path to snowmobile/UTV trails if you choose to bring your toys (you'll find an area to park your trailer just to the side of property that is cleared and can accommodate up to a 30-footer). You'll also have a solidly constructed fire pit to light a blazing fire.
You're also within a short drive to Settings Restaurant, an 18-hole golf course, Lake Harold, Pencil Lake, and the Winter Sports Park (which offers a sledding hill, outdoor skating rink, and cross country skiing.)
If you feel the desire for more traditional forms of exercises, Lakes of the North and the surrounding area offer several hiking trails through forests, ravines, and a beautiful trail along the East Jordan River. For those that enjoy kayaking, you'll find several put-ins along marked water trails starting in Bellaire and meandering through Grass River Scenic Area.
The cabin is fully furnished with antique quilts, a fully stocked kitchen, WiFI, a smart TV, a dining area, and comfortable beds. The bathroom has been updated and has a massaging shower head if you need to work out some tension. It also offers a wall mounted mini-splitter that serves as both a heater and ac unit. Each bedroom also has its own personal wall mounted heating unit to keep those chilly nights nice and warm. It does have a wood burning stove, which I can provide more details if you rent this cabin!
