Its surrounding foothills have dozens of hiking trails including those owned by the Audubon Nature Center, a half mile away. It's a mile from full service stores, and and on the border of historic Woodbury, the beginning of the CT Antiques trail in nearby Woodbury, and the other historic towns of Litchfield County.
