This four bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home with private river access and a hot tub is perfect for your family to enjoy the Rogue River and many more attractions in the area! Ideally located 7 minutes off I-5, 5 minutes from downtown Grants Pass, and 30 minutes from Medford airport and Jacksonville. Feel like you're worlds away in this beautiful rural setting, while modern conveniences, including food delivery, are just minutes away.
Spend your days fishing on the Rogue River from the private ramp and overlook. Cool off on hot summer days floating down the Rogue River leaving from your backyard. Enjoy watching flocks of ducks, majestic Great Blue Herons, and Osprey. Evening stargazing while soaking in the hot tub will likely reward you with a shooting star and the sparkling Milky Way.
Enjoy hiking, rafting, golfing, fishing, and many more fun outdoor activities. Or plan a day trip visiting charming local wineries, nearby Crater Lake National Park, or the beautiful coastal town of Gold Beach. Golf some of the best courses, such as Centennial Golf Club and Eagle Point Golf Club. Spend an afternoon of antique shopping in historic downtown Grants Pass or drive 30 minutes to historic Jacksonville to take a step back in time. About this space
Riverfront vacation home with serene mountain and river views and kitchen/living room remodel completed in 2023. Steps away from the Rogue River, this oasis has a jacuzzi and a beautiful deck for enjoying the outdoors. There is direct access and an overlook on the river.
The space
This 2,400 sq ft home has four bedrooms, including a large primary suite upstairs with a king bed, a private bathroom with shower (no tub), and a private balcony overlooking the river with mountain views. There are 3 queen bedrooms downstairs, a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo, and an additional half bathroom.
There are two dining tables inside (plus a new dine-at kitchen island that seats four) and one table outside, which provides plenty of seating. We also have a high chair and pack-n-play available upon request.
Large 60" TVs with DVD players upstairs and downstairs for movie watching. Roku is available downstairs to log in to your accounts. Starlink WiF. There is no cable t.v.
The home sits on the Rogue River and has a coveted boat dock into the river, suitable for taking kayaks and small river float rafts. The Pierce Riffle park is less than 1 mile upriver with a public boat dock equipped for launching boats from trailers.
All bedrooms are equipped with basic amenities. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, bakeware, dishes, spices, and basic pantry items. We also provide bath towels and river towels.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home and property except for the garage and back storage room. The backyard has private access to the Rogue River, hot tub and a large deck. The private boat ramp is suitable to launch small rafts and kayaks (not suitable for trailer launches. A public boat ramp is available less than a mile upriver at Pierce Riffle park. Launching at the park is free, but parking is $5.)
Other things to note
While a few visiting guests are fine we do not allow more than eight total guests (unless you specifically were approved to book for more). There are no events or parties allowed without permission.
Dishes must be washed or put in the dishwasher. There is a charge of $25 if dishes are left for the housekeeper.
THIS IS A NONSMOKING PROPERTY. PLEASE MAKE SURE EVERYONE IN YOUR PARTY IS AWARE OF THIS. THERE WILL BE A $250 CLEANING FEE FOR ANY EVIDENCE OF SMOKING FOUND ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY.
AIRGUARD detectors are installed. AirGuard can tell when there's marijuana or tobacco smoke in the air and it immediately texts a report to our manager. There will be an immediate forfeiture of your booking and a charge of $250 for any smoking or signs of cigarettes or marijuana in our home.
Due to a severe animal allergy in my immediate family we are unable to rent to people with service animals. We personally use this home regularly and pet dander causes a severe issue for his breathing.
