Positive: The location of this property is fantastic whilst the apartment itself has great character, is very homely, stylish and comfortable whilst also having everything you could need for a few days or longer …..the best bit though is the location being a stones throw from the historic Colosseum with plenty of good restaurants within 5-15mins walk. Luigi the owner was super helpful - whether helping with airport transfers, recommendations on places to go or giving us a tour of the property when we got there. A nice touch was also leaving complimentary bottle of fizz, as well as essentials such as bread, sandwich meats , milk and coffee ensuring you can relax as soon as you get there. The value for money in terms of quality, location and price was excellent for us - we were 4 adults and two young kids at just over 100£ pp per night seems good value to us for Rome.
Negative: The Building itself is a little dated but so is lots of Rome. The apartment whilst stylish with some nice antique decor and original features could do with some redecorating - HOWEVER i think you will struggle to beat the combination of Location, Quality of Accommodation, and Price in Rome. The best architectural Roman sites are all within a short walking distance of the apartment whilst landmarks like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain , etc are within 20-25min walk , or short bus ride or Metro.
