4 Bedroom House in Grand Junction

Our waterside cottage is located on Saddle Lake Island in Grand Junction, Michigan. The house and guest cabin have been completely renovated from top to bottom, including a large screened-in porch. Uniquely positioned between the east and west sides of Saddle Lake, the home has beautiful water views in every direction. There is a very large yard on both sides of the house, offering plenty of room to enjoy land sports or sunbathing. Saddle Lake is a stunning, spring-fed, 300-acre lake. The lake is well-known for its clean water, and, with a depth of 32', for its great fishing and boating as well. Put your jet skis or boat in the water at nearby Saddle Lake Public Boat Launch and then tie it up at the cottage's large private dock. Swimming at the Saddle Lake Island private beach, about 60 yards from the house, is wonderful - the western side of the lake has all the sand (our home is on the eastern side of the lake) and the lake water warms early on in the summer. Hiking or biking is always an excellent option -- the Kal-Haven Trail is a short ride from the house. We are pleased to include two kayaks, a canoe, and life jackets for your use. Come here to unwind and unplug. There is no direct internet, only that which your 4G signal provides (there is a cell booster, but not all cell phone carrier service works well on the island -- we have found Verizon to be the best and most reliable). The house has over-the-air TV rather than cable. There is a blue ray player and over one hundred DVDs. The house stays cool with a whole house fan and the cross-breeze from the two sides of the lake. On the hottest days, there is A/C in both the house and the guest quarters. Everything here is about being outside -- in, on, or next to the lake! During high season, the house is available for weekly rentals only.
