Positive: The view from the balcony, beds comfortable and good quality linen. Kitchenette area reasonable size. Nice pool though didn't have time to use it.
Negative: In the room were 2 bright lights , one for phone/wi fi, the other ? Smoke detector. They were placed right on the wall opposite where you slept so very bright in the night. Our room didn't have shutters, only a curtain ( next doors did) so it was extremely light so didn't sleep well. I found the owner to be a bit aloof . On one of the nights I'm not sure if his family were round but there was a radio station on extremely loud until after midnight. It was as if they had forgotten to turn it off and must have disturbed people in the neighbourhood. I went to sit by the pool on the following day and no mention of the previous night or even if we were enjoying Karpathos. His manner was so different to all the other Greek people we have met on our 3 week trip. The taverna was nice and very busy and the young lady who worked there was lovely and friendly .
