Sea view with a short walk to the beach. | Villa in Porto Cristo

3 Bedroom Villa in Manacor, Porto Cristo
A house, a harbour, a "fjord" and an unforgettable (snorkelling) holiday by the sea – in an absolutely extraordinary location for those who want to get to the water quickly. The stately, two-storey villa "Can Guillem Boquet" stands a-tiptoe and opens wide all its door and windows to the terrace and the balcony, so as not to miss a single moment of seaside bliss. Its seaward-facing side is thus so much grander than the one facing the gravel car park and the car port – after all, it's best to focus on what's really important. Although the unspoiled and secluded Cala Petita is not quite your own private beach, it does give you the chance to have it all to yourself – early in the morning, before anybody else arrives, and in the evening hours when the others are already going home; after all, you're only a 200 m walk away. It's a quick run back and forth to the idyllic villa. By the small pool on the lawn you can slip under the shaded pergola with a book or move your lounger near the palm trees; the lounge terrace by the house, with sea views and many flower and potted plants allows you to follow the sun. And then if you put some fresh fish on the BBQ, everything's just "maravilloso"!
This villa is simply amazing! It's quite clear that the house, the garden, and the guests' well-being are very important to the owners. It's not easy to resist the charms of the sea and the outdoor areas at "Can Guillem Boquet", but the indoor areas offer a haven of tranquillity and mix of modern comfort and rustic appeal. After whipping up something in the squeaky-clean fitted kitchen, you can comfortably eat in front of the fireplace and TV in the living/dining room, or if you prefer, outside at the table on the terrace. There's a washing machine, dishwasher here too, by the way.
The three bedrooms with 1,60 x 2 m double mattresses on the ground floor and the side-by-side single beds upstairs all keep it simple, as their real focus lies on making the most of the sea views, with terrace access downstairs and shared sun balcony upstairs. There's always room for an additional guest, even in the bathroom. There's a bathroom with either a bath or a shower on each floor, and if it gets too crowded, there's always the water nozzle outside, which should spray off most of the sand after a visit to the beach.
After all, there is a lot of sand here. Between the little harbour town of Porto Cristo, which is just 3 km away, with a large beach and a picturesque old town, and the touristy Sa Coma/Cala Millor, you can almost feel like a sea-dweller and leave the car behind more often. A beaten path leads you to the romantic, rocky cove of Cala Petita. It cuts deep into the shoreline, which makes it especially good for snorkelling (even au naturel, if you like). Parallel to the road there's a bike trail/footpath leading to the harbour. For lunch one day, try to make it to the somewhat hidden fish eatery Las Golondrinas, or enjoy the sunset at the fine German-owned restaurant Sa Sal! There's a weekly market on the promenade on Sundays. And the almost direct connection to the capital makes it worth spending a day amongst Palma's art nouveau buildings or at the spectacular aquarium with its many events – you can even get married here in spectacular style. All bedroom and bathroom linen is included. Bath towels are also provided. This property comes with Free Wi-Fi, Free Air Conditioning.
