Boasting a gorgeous, secluded 22 acre IL Villa Toscana estate with a 6,500 sq ft home which features 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, a 10 meter pool, private 2 ½ acre pond, walking trails for your outdoor enjoyment, surround sound system that’s controlled by your cell phone, 3 gas fire places, 5 Televisions and top of the line gas grill. The view from the house overlooks the salt water pool and pond with plenty of space for outdoor activities. IL VIILA TOSCANA is a 2 story custom designed and built home with 10-14 foot ceilings, open floor plan that is perfect for entertaining multiple small or large groups. Enter thru the grand foyer into a large open formal living room and dining room that overlooks the balcony and pond. Love to cook and entertain, you’ll be overwhelmed with the Chef’s Kitchen, Butler’s pantry and specialty pantry with all your electric cooking devices. The kitchen features 2 ovens, 6 gas burner stove, microwave and toaster oven. It also has two dishwashers, 3 sinks with plenty of counter space to prep for any occasion. The Butler area has an ice machine, small refrigerator and coffee makers. The kitchen and pantry is fully equipped to fulfill your cooking needs. The kitchen is open to a spacious gathering room with fireplace and access to a 500 sq. feet deck that overlooks the pool, pond and kids play area. The deck has a large table capable of seating 8-12 guests, chairs and rockers that are great for entertaining and relaxing. The upper floor has a King size Master bedroom suite with ensuite and private balcony. The ensuite consists of two separate sinks, walk-in closet and large walk-in shower with multiple heads and Jacuzzi tub with jets for two. Two additional queen size bedrooms with private ensuites, two additional half baths on either side of the house and a large laundry room centrally located.
A grand-wide stairway leads you down to a large family room with a kitchenette, 2 small refrigerators, pool table, large TV, Popcorn machine and a small room with toys for younger children. Thru the family room you enter the Carolina room with a queen pull out sofa and access to the heated salt water pool and covered patio. The Carolina room has comfortable furniture with an adult and kid’s dining room table and poker table with chips and cards. Covered patio has another large over-sized table, chairs, state of the art gas grill and small refrigerator. It’s also adjacent to the kids play area and walks out to the pool. The pool gate can be locked for safety concerns and has a max depth of 5 ½ feet, which may ease adults concerns for younger and non-swimmers. During warm months’ pool furniture, umbrellas and pool accessories are available for use. The pool is not heated during the colder months – usually October thru April.
A queen bedroom is another feature downstairs with walk in closet, room with a twin bed that’s adjacent to a full bathroom. Going thru the bedroom is another room that has a pull out queen bed and 2 twin beds for use.
Let’s not forget about the younger kids’ entertainment and activities. The family room has a kid’s kitchenette, a room with toys, books and an outside play area.
Bring your fishing equipment for this private 2 ½ acre pond that is well stocked with Bream/Sunfish, Catfish and Bass. It will be hard to walk away without catching something. Please- Fishing is catch and release.
Although IL Villa Toscana is secluded you are within a 10 minute drive to down town Southern Pines, Pinehurst, a number of restaurants and several local brewers. Both cities have a number of boutiques stores and café’s for hours of leisure. For the golfers there are a number of prime and pristine courses to play. The world renowned Pinehurst Country Club has 9 courses and recently added a par 3 course along with its grand hotel and spa is a must to visit. Closer in are 2 grocery stores and eaters for eating in or take out.
