Serene Sanctuary has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and can comfortably accommodate 10 people. We are ideally located 90 minutes outside of NYC and conveniently central to all the attractions the Poconos Mountains have to offer.
The space

Pull up to our cabin that is settled over a private bridge between a wooded mountain ridge and a babbling creek stocked with trout.
Enter through the front door into the main family room/dining room. There you will be welcomed by Cathedral ceilings, exposed beams, Australian Cypress hardwood floors, and a wood-burning stone fireplace. Adjacent the fireplace is a grand rustic wooden dining table with seating for 8, a record chest, and vinyl record player tucked under the windows in the corner. Walk through these rooms to find French Doors with sweeping views and deck access.
Open the French Doors and step onto the 80 ft deck to be engulfed by a canopy of trees and the meditative sound of our cascading creek.
The first floor has a full country kitchen with plenty of counter top space, coffee/espresso machine and breakfast nook, which seats 4 and has one of the best panoramic views in the house. Across from the kitchen is an 8ft. walnut wood billiards table that compliments the exposed beam interior.
Go through the billiards room and into the second living room. This living room is equipped with a wet bar and enough seating for your entire family and friends. A plush deep seated couch, love-chair and chaise nook will ensure that everyone has a comfortable spot to call their own. Enjoy our 55" 4K smart TV with access to Apple TV, which is stocked with over 200 of our favorite movies or use Netflix or Hulu that are provided for your enjoyment. If you prefer more interaction we have a number of games and puzzles as well.
One level up you will find 4 beautifully furnished bedrooms and 2 full baths:
The master bedroom ("The Black Forest") sports a Oxford blue interior with a beautiful collage of antiques collected from our travels above the king size walnut sleigh bed. Opposite the bed is a TV mounted on the wall with Roku capabilities. Enjoy the views of the water through the cathedral window, while seated in our saffron wing-back chairs.
The second large bedroom ("The Evergreen Forest") is complete with a regal green headboard to compliment the plush queen bed, vaulted chamber ceilings and a private furnished balcony with multiple stream vantage points; perfect for a night cap drink or morning cup of coffee.
The third bedroom ("The Deer Den") is painted a hunter green with high ceilings and a comfortable queen size bed. Gold art highlights the walls and dual painted noble stag portraits give the room its name.
The fourth bedroom ("The Fox Den") has two deep red accent walls and a pillow topped queen bed. The room also has a stately desk for writing or other creative works of your choosing.
