Summary: We arrived and checked in with no issues after getting some communication from the host. Place was clean and spacious. It was a bit cold and discovered the thermostat needed battery replacement so the host was kind enough to come by and take care of that for us. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well supplied. Only complaint is the cushions on the couch in the main living room kept sliding off when we sat there to watch TV because there was a hard wood board underneath it to protect the pullout bed but I already mentioned this to the host and hopefully they provide a better option. We enjoyed a nice 10-15min walk to the beach through the neighborhood which was very lovely and relaxing. It was a beautiful day to stroll around the beach. Home is a short driving distance to the downtown area which has some restaurants and shops. About 30min to Mystic and 50min to New Haven.
