The home is located in a tranquil residential neighborhood, ideal for up to 8 mature adults interested in a quiet, relaxing retreat in the middle of the redwood rainforest. Adult couples, friends, professionals, and retirees will find this home an ideal place for rest and quiet relaxation. Per County Ordinance this home is only permitted for 8 guests total (including any infants/children). No exceptions are allowed.
The home is not childproof, it has a steep staircase, a balcony overhang, original mid-century and glass furniture, and is not suitable for infants or young children.
No pets or service animals are allowed due to the owner’s allergies and backyard plants toxic/hazardous to animals. We take health and safety seriously and the home is professionally cleaned and maintained for your peace of mind.
The home is nestled in a quiet community on a large elevated rainforest with lots of Redwoods, Douglas Fir trees, and Ferns and an open view of the valley. It is a 7 minute walk to the nearest Russian River Access, an easy 20 minute walk over the pedestrian bridge to Guerneville center and Johnson's Beach, and a 5 minute drive to Guerneville Safeway Supermarket.
The home was fully renovated in 2022 and features all of the modern amenities including air conditioning with each room individually controlled, heated floors for the bathrooms, new flooring, rugs, and furniture, and a fully equipped Chef's kitchen with propane Viking gas range and Bosch appliances, high-speed internet, and several streaming channels (e.g Netflix, Paramount Plus, Disney Plus).
The first floor includes a Den/TV room with two sofas, a separate large two-story vaulted living room with floor to ceiling windows and a propane fire place, and a large separate kitchen/dining area with a double-sized window bench featuring perfect valley views. The first floor also includes a bedroom with a queen size bed and desk, and a bathroom that can be closed off from the communal areas to serve as an en suite.
The second floor includes the master bedroom with a king size bed, desk, and valley views, a bedroom with two twin XL beds, and a shared bathroom with soaking tub, double-vanity, and shower.
The annex over the garage provides additional space for you and your guests to spread out and features two bonus rooms each with king size beds (one with a desk, monitor, and keyboard) and a shared bath.
All beds have premium quality inner-spring mattresses, pillows, and bedding for comfort. A washer and dryer are located in the garage which is also available for guest parking. A selection of games and books are provided for guests to enjoy during their stay.
The house features ample outdoor living space including a large yard and three separate decks, a premium large propane gas grill, fire pit, and outdoor furniture. The hot tub accommodates 6 to 7 people and is professionally serviced each week.
GUEST ACCESS
Door Code: No need to worry about a key! You will be sent a private access code on the day of arrival that will work for the duration of your stay.
Parking: 3 car limit. Park on the driveway, in the parking area between the house and garage, or in the garage only. Do not park on landscaped areas, in front of any neighbors, or on the street.
We are pleased to offer guests the convenience of a Chargepoint Home Flex EV charger with a 240V NEMA 6-50 Plug. The charger is programmed to charge only during off peak hours (hours outside 5pm-8pm) and is billed to guests per use at applicable PG&E rates.
OTHER NOTABLE DETAILS
Sonoma County Good Neighbor policy has very strict regulations regarding short-term rentals. Quiet hours are 9pm-7am. No outdoor amplified sound (e.g amplified music, drumming, partying) at any time. This home is not appropriate for bachelor or bachelorette parties. No weddings, parties, events, or loud gatherings of any kind.
No guests or cars in excess of the maximum occupancy and vehicles noted. 3 car limit. Park only on the asphalt driveway, the parking area between the house and garage, or in the garage only. No temporary structures (including tents) or RV's are permitted.
Noncompliance of above house rules constitutes a violation of your rental agreement and may result in early termination, immediate eviction, and additional fees and applicable fines.
Remember to keep doors, windows, and vehicles secured. The home is equipped with two outdoor security cameras with a view of the driveway and parking area (no indoor cameras).
