The home has 1000 square feet of living space and features a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including a Keurig coffee machine. Step out onto the upper level's expansive open deck and take in the stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico, or relax at the gulf front bar and watch the sunset.
Located on North Captiva Island, this vacation rental is accessible only by ferry, private boat, or small plane, making it a remote and undiscovered paradise. The island is part of the Lee Island Coast barrier chain in South West Florida, and the nearest airport is in Fort Myers. The island has a small town atmosphere with just enough amenities to suit your needs, and guests have access to club pools, hot tubs, bikes, kayaks, a tennis court, half basketball court, and beach chairs.

Summary: There are lots of options and houses to choose from when staying at North Cap. One of the plumbers at the house told us this hole is one of the oldest on the island! It does not have all of the newest or fanciest amenities BUT I would stay here again in a heart beat. The location is unbeatable. The deck under the main level is an entire additional living area (our kids actually slept here multiple nights on air mattresses we had brought along!). There were some minor bumps while we were there - but NCIS promptly addressed them and fixed as timely as they could (you have to remember - it’s an island - resources are not immediate). The only thing that would be helpful in this home would be some updated kitchen utensils (can opener is a beast, need pot holders, etc) and maybe a supplied laundry basket to cart clean/dirty items up and down outside stairs. Overall - our family had a great time! Oh - be sure and rent fishing poles from Boats and Fun. This location has amazing fishing spots right out the back door.
