Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Perfect location, have stayed at SJs before. Being on the main street of Hamilton is perfect for a night out. Staff really friendly and helpful. Parking on site and the accommodation access with the key without going through the club was great, made it easy.
Negative: There was a really off smell upstairs like wet dog which was even more pungent in the room. The sheets and pillows had a dank smell and there were odd brown drips and smears on the walls. Previous stay was with 2 singles with a friend and the room was far cleaner. No soap was provided with the towels for the shower.
Summary: Convenient location for budget conscious travellers.
