Tenderheart Cabin and Stable is located in Gunnison Highlands North, 30 minutes from Gunnison and 50 minutes from downtown Crested Butte. During the winter this neighborhood is only accessible by snowmobile. Most of the properties in the neighborhood sit on 40 to 80 acre parcels, so there is plenty of privacy. An easy 20 minute off-road trail will have you fishing or rafting the Taylor or Gunnison River in Almont at Three Rivers Resort.
This location is perfect for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts alike as it borders Gunnison National Forest and offers miles of trails to hike, fish, horseback ride, 4x4, OHV/ATV, snowmobile, or cross-country ski.
The dirt roads are easily navigable by an all-wheel drive vehicle 8 months of the year. During the winter months, you will need to bring your own snowmobile to access the property, but I can personally show you the way. It's a fun trip!
