Summary: Pros: Great for short stays. The staff was kind, for the most part. Beautiful views from the ‘Top Suite’ room and dining area. I paid for a massage that was pretty good also. The food was good as well. The room overall was clean and the shower was very nice with plenty of hot water. Cons: Rules are not fully enforced or regulated at all. Especially when couples can have loud sex during ‘tranquil’ quiet hours and wake up the entire retreat… Management should also be more diligent regarding room reservations as well. I was terrified my last night there when I heard the doorknob to my room rattling at 2:30AM because there was obviously some sort of mix up. Last but not least, I am very emotionally and socially intelligent as a WORLD traveler for over 10 years.. I do this FullTime and meet people all over the world. I notice undertones very well. Even though some of the staff presented themselves very nicely.. there were many moments where the mood and the environment felt ‘off’. And even though I’m not fluent in Spanish, I most definitely know enough to pick up on things.. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay for rest and relaxation if you’re not particular about anything… I wish the entire business and staff all the best in their future endeavors.
