BIG WATERFRONT VIEWS! AMAZING SUNSETS ON A POINT. The cabin was built in the late 60's, So we kept that mid-century Era. Orange & Avocado green w/ Grays & a modern twist. It is truly a one of a kind place on Lake Martin. Own dock, charcoal grill, outdoor fireplace. NOT child proof. Strict no animal policy. Parking for 2 ONLY, We live next door if you need anything.....
If you are the type that like listening to your music loud we don't care! Turn it up and enjoy your stay, or take advantage lake and go out on your boat all day! Gorgeous views, sunsets. Great location
BIG WATER VIEW, I can not express enough, the view is almost a solid 220* (if not more) of open waters. You will NOT be in a slough. With that being said... Big waters means big action, but that's why floats are so much fun here..

SLEEPING:
-The upstairs sleeping quarters and hang out spot is perfect for kids/teens or single sleepers it has 4 twin platform beds, a Smart TV and a large window seat.
-The two downstairs rooms are both Queen beds and more grown up styled. They are on main floor and share the bathroom as a Jack n Jill style.
BATHRROM
-A Jack n Jill bathroom is inside between both queen bedrooms on main floor, to help with bathroom we built an outside on the deck a LARGE PRIVATE walk in shower with plenty of room to get dressed in.
For woman there is a black washcloth for removing makeup and I try very hard to provide packs of make up remover.
KITCHEN
-Full kitchen will stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Keurig Mini coffee maker ( I live a large container stacked full of Dark Roast pods, also dry creamer and real sugar), all dishes (nice ones and hard plastic) pots, pans, mixing bowls, etc... If you have any questions on a certain item please ask.
LIVING ROOM
-new modern mid century sofa and oversize chair in living room. Smart TV with Roku, make sure to bring your personal App login info and please log out during check out, this helps to avoid new guest using your apps. Cabinet under TV has multiple board games! Also outdoor grey storage chest has a large grass checkers game and cornhole. Feel free to pull out Twister and play in the yard!
DINING
-dining, inside due to space there is 4 bar stools for bar top, outside under covered patio is a 6 top, also outdoor furniture and inside there are vintage lap trays under cabinet in living room to left.
OUTSIDE
The outside deck is wonderful for grilling out. Walkway out on the water with a dock, big waves coming in and yes it sounds like being at the ocean! Bring your floats, this place is fun in the water. Non Skid tread stairs going down into lake
We have installed Mooring Whips for easy boat hook up! No need to tie to dock or try to figure out boat lift. Instructions on how to use will be printed out and in Welcome Book located on inside of main door.
**We suggest if you have never used mooring whips please watch some YouTube videos on how to.
There is a public boat ramp 3 minute drive from cabin and a 5 minute boat ride
Parking for cabin only comes with 2 spots for vehicles only This home is on a point shared by 2 other homes so parking is narrow
Outside on the deck will be a LARGE PRIVATE walk in shower with plenty of room to get dressed in and HOT water!
*If you are lucky you may spot the local Bald Eagle, he loves to fly over the cabin*
WE ARE CURRENTLY REMODELING our home next door, some days it’s just hammers some days it’s saws. It’s not a full blown crew. 1-4 people
PETS/DOGS/CATS
We have the strict non pet policy, this includes any visitors you may have come see you during your stay. This is because we live next door in a non leash law county. We have dogs, who LOVE LOVE LOVE people but HATE other dogs/cats. No one wants an altercation. No one wants a dog fight or death. This is us telling you now, we are NOT held responsible for our dogs behavior towards any pets on property. This is their home, their land, they will defend it from other animals.... Please understand, these are our babies and we would not want them to get hurt or any other fur babies, this comes from the upmost love for animals, ours and yours
All our places we provide TP (they are on septic tanks and a special TP is required, if you need more, please ask in a timely manner)
1 Roll of Paper towels, plenty of trash bags for kitchen under kitchen sink
ALL trash goes in one of the 3 garbage cans between the 2 trees in driveway.
Grills are all charcoal, please do not put wood or cig butts in the grills
Some guests leave behind unused items like sunblock/bug spray/charcoal/lighter fluid/spices/coffees/condiments… These items are they if you would like to use them.
We provide all linens and towels, sometimes things need replacing so what is on pictures may not be the bedding on the bed, we try to keep the color and house scheme. But are subject to change.
- CHECK IN: keycode and self check in anytime after 4pm.
-CHECK OUT:
For check out: we ask the following to be done
1. No trash left behind in any room
2. No dirty dishes, you may load the dishwasher we will gladly put them away
3. Leave beds unmade
4. Put any furniture back that may have been moved
5. All remotes back, if one is missing you will be charged $20, that is how much they cost with shipping
6. make sire to log out of any streaming apps on the TV's
7. LOOK through all drawers and under beds, if anything is left behind there is a $20 fee just to take it to the post office, its a 45 min drive, also shipping and package cost
*WE HAVE ATTACHED AN accidental DAMAGE POLICY, THE LOWEST ONE $59, this is non refundable OR you can message me and I will add a damage deposit to your booking BEFORE booking and take off the $59 policy. Your damage deposit will be return if you cause no damage. This is your choice
*If you are offered travelers insurance I highly recommend it, when we travel we purchase it always, the insurance company will reimburse you if you need to cancel after the cancellation policy, bad weather, unfortunately events and so on
Please understand we try very hard to keep pictures up to date, however with items such as décor and bedding, they get broken or worn out and if we can not find the exact thing we have to choose something different, However we always stick with the theme/feel of the house...
ALSO, you are in mother nature, bugs, wildlife, reptiles are and could be around during your stay. The best way to cut back on bugs inside the house, never leave door open, use the provided electric bug zappers. We get our places sprayed twice a month, we get the yard sprayed for bugs also. Our home is treated.
