Loiba belongs to the large and well-known municipality of Ortigueira (Province of A Coruña), and along its extensive coastline, it boasts idyllic, wild, and secluded beaches. Some are perfect for water sports (surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, etc.), while others are like natural pools sheltered by estuaries or inlets. Nestled between two important capes, its lighthouses represent: Cabo de Estaca de Bares, the northernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, and Cabo del Ortegal, where the highest cliffs on the European continent begin. But between them, their more than 40km, lie hidden small fishing villages, towns, beaches... and endless coastal paths that now belong to a new route of the Camino de Santiago: the Northern Way of the Sea. The Cadaval viewpoint (which belongs to the area of ​​the Cadaval neighborhood itself) hides access to several wild beaches; to the west, the famous Loiba Bank, a place for reconnecting with the soul; or, following its network of paths on foot, the spectacular Esteiro beach.
