Our location in a quiet, old-school Kodiak neighborhood adds to the charm and charisma of your stay, perched on a cliff with stunning views while still conveniently located near downtown (1.2 mi), so you'll have easy access to all the attractions and amenities the area has to offer. The Main Deck is just a short and picturesque 0.5-mile walk along the water to reach some of our fantastic shops and eateries on the channel. As you stroll along the scenic path, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the ocean and the stunning Alaskan landscape, making every step an enjoyable experience. This makes it the perfect combination for hosting large events, between the 2 properties, with the added benefit of extra housing provided by 🏠 The Poustinia next door. Whether it's a family reunion, a corporate retreat or meeting, bridal/baby shower, or any other special occasion, our collective offers the ideal space to create lasting memories.

We are a local brand on the rise of thoughtfully curated, all-inclusive, comfortable vacation rentals. We take pride in providing first-class professional service. Immerse yourself in coastal exploration and witness stunning sunrises with our collection of waterfront properties and convenient paddle board rentals!
While you enjoy your stay, please note that we may occasionally be on site, mowing the lawn or something fun like that, and are easily reachable 24/7 via phone. We respect your need for space and privacy, but rest assured that we are here to assist you with any questions or requests that may arise during your time with us.
🗒️ NOTE 🗒️
At The Main Deck, you'll be staying in the upstairs of The Captains View. Downstairs, there are two individual private suites, each with their own private entrances. You'll have complete privacy and won't interact with other guests. The only shared space is ample parking – plenty for everyone's convenience!
The Guest shall be required to pay a $500 Damage Deposit amount when booking direct, Booking.com, a paddle board or with VRBO, and sign a rental agreement.
SERVICE FEE: The service fee of 5% is non-refundable should you decide to cancel your reservation at any point.

Early Check-in / Late Check-out Requests:
While we try to accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests, please note that during the busy summer season, it may not always be possible due to back-to-back check-ins. Check-out time is at 11 am to allow our cleaning service sufficient time for thorough cleaning.
Early Check-in / Late Check-out Requests Fee:
*There is a $30 early/late check in fee. Please check if early/late check out is possible before paying in your guest portal.
*Early check in charge is any time before 1:00 pm.
Pet Policy:
We welcome small to medium-sized quiet pets with an additional cleaning fee of $75.
Failure to disclose your pet(s) will result in the cancellation of your stay without a refund.
Please ensure your pet has no history of causing damage, no peeing indoors, and no aggression.
Pets must be leashed at all times outside the house and cannot be left unattended.
Pets are not allowed on furniture, and any accidents on the carpets or furniture will incur the necessary cleaning fees.
Please clean up after your pet in all indoor and outdoor areas and respect the neighbors.
EVENTS: Events are allowed with permission and an extra $2500 damage deposit and signed rental agreement. We use vacation management software Hostaway and will process the deposit and agreement via Hostaway.
*Please remove your shoes before entering the house to prevent tracking in mud and rainwater.
*Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. A $300 room recovery fee will be charged to guests who fail to comply.
*Please refrain from moving heavy furniture to prevent damages. Guests will be held liable for any resulting damages.
