The Hideaway is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom vacation spot that sleeps 9 as is - perfect for large families or a friends getaway. A spacious house with plenty of room to enjoy each other's company. Outdoor and indoor seating for 10 as well as fire pit for the perfect ending to a long day of adventures. Go out to eat at the famous Chicken Shack or grill up a meal on the charcoal grill provided on site.
Larger group? No problem. Please inquire for reservations up to 15 guests!
The Hideaway is in the heart of Mears on Upper Silver Lake. Only 2.5 miles from the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, 5 miles from beautiful Lake Michigan Beach, 2 miles from Silverback Drag Racing, 1.5 miles from Golden Sands Golf Course and 2 minutes from Craig's Cruisers. In the winter months, hop on the Hart-Montague Snowmobile Trail right from our front yard! Open during hunting season as well.
Take a day to explore the nearby areas of Pentwater (25 min drive) and Ludington (25 min drive). You’ll find horseback riding, wine tastings and even a rodeo! In Mears, be sure to see the dust kick up at the NEW SILVERBACK Drag Racing!

Summary: We had a very nice stay at "The Perfect Hideaway". House is clean, furnishings new and in great condition, beds are comfortable. Owner was very quick with communication and checked on us once (phone call) during our stay. Charcoal grill is a Weber and in good condition. House is in quiet neighborhood and a very short drive to the dunes and activities of Silver Lake. Very convenient location. Would stay again!
