Positive: Wow what a beautiful place the interior is so beautifully decorated and well designed. Kitchen you could cook up a storm in or just a sandwich, everything was there. The Lodge was Spotless, beds Comfy and the shower was Hot and spacious. The view from the bath was lovely and although we did not use, certainly something to consider for NEXT time, as we WILL BE BACK . The magnificent Stain glass windows in the lounge were enough to just sit and look at but venturing outside we were greeted by an absolutely gorgeous garden planted by the owner's mother, obviously with a lot of love. The garden had bird ,bee and butterfly enticing plants. With three lovely patios off the main house all used at various times to have our breakfast, lunch and cuppa's whilst we read or sat enjoying the loveliness of this place. Plenty of fruit and carrots were supplied to go meet the ponies and horses whom all eagerly greeted us for their treats. We then sat on the lawn area enjoying the company of these magnificent well looked after gentle equine. In itself a relaxing, calming experience being in their presence albeit on the other side of the fence. Our two nights were not enough but we will be back. Thank you Pia for opening your lovely lodge, it was a pleasure meeting you

Negative: This is NOT a NEGATIVE BUT a Suggestion Only , With the beautiful bathroom and only toilet upstairs maybe a consideration to somehow incorporate a small rest room on the ground floor for access to any one staying in ground floor room or to just make access to a loo for anyone utilising the lovely garden patio to save them running upstairs.

Summary: Beautiful Lodge, gorgeous gardens, plenty of birdlife, friendly equine in this "Slice of Heaven "
