Enjoy convenient walks or short drives to the Brewery, the new Cider House, and a variety of excellent restaurants in the bustling heart of Kodiak. Immerse yourself in the charm of this beautiful, small, eclectic old school Kodiak residential neighborhood. Step outside your door to discover a fabulous children's park, perfect for kids to play and have fun. A short walk leads you to Emerson Boat Yard, Kodiak Beach, and a lovely park where you can practice yoga, sunbathe, and even pick fresh blueberries, raspberries, and salmonberries. Follow the road that takes you directly to Bean & Bloom, our newest coffee shop, and The Kodiak Hana Restaurant located along the channel, offering a picturesque .5 mile walk. Embrace the vibrant atmosphere and natural beauty surrounding our location, where there's something for everyone to enjoy.
NOTE:
This is a completely private 2-bedroom/1-bathroom suite, nestled within the picturesque Captains View cliffside retreat home. This is a hotel style suite with lots of space for a family or group who doesn't want to be cramped in a small hotel space. There are no kitchen facilities but there is a washer/dryer, mini-fridge, tea, coffee, coffee maker, electric hot water kettle, and amazing ocean views and complete privacy!
The Guest shall be required to pay a $500 Damage Deposit amount when booking direct, Booking.com, a paddle board or with VRBO, and sign a rental agreement.
SERVICE FEE: The service fee of 5% is non-refundable should you decide to cancel your reservation at any point.

Early Check-in / Late Check-out Requests:
While we try to accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests, please note that it may not always be possible due to back-to-back check-ins. Check-out time is at 11 am to allow our cleaning service sufficient time for thorough cleaning.
Early Check-in / Late Check-out Requests Fee:
*There is a $30 early/late check in fee. Please check if early/late check out is possible before paying in your guest portal.
*Early check in charge is any time before 1:00 pm.
Pet Policy:
No pets allowed
EVENTS: Events are allowed with permission and a $2500 damage deposit and signed rental agreement. We use vacation management software Hostaway and will process the deposit and agreement via Hostaway.
*Please remove your shoes before entering the house to prevent tracking in mud and rainwater.
*Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. A $500 room recovery fee will be charged to guests who fail to comply.
*Please refrain from moving heavy furniture to prevent damages. Guests will be held liable for any resulting damages.
