Positive: The location is ideal -- in the heart of old Nice within walking distance of everything. There are a lot of steps to reach the apartment - 8 flights total (4 stories) - but the view from the rooftop terrace is absolutely stunning. It is well worth the climb to have the rooftop sitting area, but individuals with mobility difficulties or small children might have difficulty with accessing the apartment, The apartment was spacious and the beds were comfortable, and the noise from below was not bad at all even when the night life was hopping beneath us - we slept well. The owner was very responsive and kind and was a pleasure to interact with in coordinating things related to our stay.
Negative: I think we were the 8th people to stay in the apartment since the owner started to offer it to guests. It is actively being worked on and updated, and some parts of the interior still need to be addressed and updated. It is a unique property in an ideal location, though, and I am confident that the owner will continue to make needed updates and improvements for future guests.
Summary: Stellar location & incredible views from rooftop. Attentive host, spacious unit & comfortable beds.
