Positive: The property is quite extensive and exhibits all the charms of a bygone age albeit maintained to a 21st century standard. It is on the edge of the village and parking was around the back in a grassy area across the road. There are several apartments in a converted outbuilding and ours was on the ground floor - a spacious main room with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable seating area, a good-sized bedroom and bathroom. Outside was a covered area with table and chairs looking out onto the patio garden. Our hostess was welcoming and interesting as she indulged our curiosity about the fascinating history of the villa. A 10 minute walk from the villa brings you to a couple of simple bars in the village popular with the locals.
