Immersed in the colours and scents of Mediterranean scrub in the hamlet of Monticanaglia, a few kilometres from Arzachena, the Gallura town around which the Costa Smeralda arose, Villa Lu Muntiggiu is an example of architecture in perfect Costa Smeralda style, with soft lines in white granite, in harmony with the surrounding territory. Built in the late '90s, it stands on a slight slope surrounded by granite mountains and lush valleys covered in oaks, holm oaks and Mediterranean scrub. The main floor has openings to the outside, thanks to the large windows which, together with the light chrome plating of the furnishings, enhance the natural brightness. Welcoming the guests is an elegant living room, with wood-burning fireplace, from where they can admire the wonderful park that surrounds the house, three air-conditioned double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower and a beautiful kitchen with peninsula, directly connected to the outdoor living area with pergola, with a large wooden table and a splendid stone barbecue, perfect for spending pleasant evenings in good company, enjoying the local food and wine. Strolling in the immense private park, you come to the swimming pool and the annex. Villa Lu Muntiggiu is the ideal place to find peace and tranquillity, immersed in a unique context, surrounded by junipers, holm oaks and strawberry trees.
Interior:
Villa Lu Muntiggiu is composed of the main villa and an annex about 500 m away. VILLA. On two floors, not connected internally. On the ground floor the main entrance leads into the large bright living room that leads, on the left, to a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, and, on the right, via a hallway with window, to the kitchen with direct exit out to the garden; then, continuing on, to two twin bedrooms (with joinable beds) sharing a bathroom with tub. From the garden, 9 steps lead down to the basement composed of a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower. Located in an adjacent room is the laundry. ANNEX. Reached across the garden, it consists of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both with ensuite bathroom with shower. Air conditioning in the bedrooms only.
Park:
With its 3 hectares of fenced park, Villa Lu Muntiggiu is surrounded by the green of Mediterranean scrub, rich in native Sardinian plants; protagonists are the juniper trees, holm oaks and strawberry trees that create a true olfactory landscape in which the delicate aromas of the coast blend with the sparkling ones of the sea breeze, offering guests shady retreats. Along the entire perimeter of the house, wooden pergolas provide relaxing spots enriched by cosy sofas and armchairs where guests can rest in good company; the fully-equipped outdoor kitchen, with built-in barbecue, is perfect for outdoor lunches and dinners on hot summer days. Framing everything is the breathtaking panorama that stretches as far as the eye can see to the Limbara mountains, the town of Arzachena, Canniggione, Baia Sardinia, San Pantaleo; without a doubt, a privileged position where guests can admire unforgettable sunsets. The property has its own private parking area and a single handy vehicle entrance.

Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool is located at the back of the villa, in a beautiful private area, surrounded by bushes of Mediterranean scrub, succulents and natural rocks; it is reached from the park along two flights of stone steps. Rectangular and measuring (?) with the depth of (?), it is lined in PVC and bordered by stone paving and has chlorine purification, four Roman steps for access to the water and a protective cover. The solarium area is equipped with sunbeds, small tables, umbrellas and a cold-water shower. The pool is open from April 1 to October 30.
