Positive: The villa was a bit quirky. One of the rooms is separate to the others and it is on the lower level next to the swimming pool. This has its own entrance key. It has its own lounge area, bedroom and shower room. There is no air-con in the lower room but there are fans provided. This room was a little too warm for us, being from a colder climate, but we didn't need to use it anyway because we were only three couples and a 2 year old. In the main part of the villa there are two air-con units in the main lounge/kitchen/dining area. This room is very pleasant with a nice outlook. The bedrooms have fans or ceiling fans or both provided. These are OK: perhaps further air-con units would help but it wasn't a big issue for us. There is a pleasant enough outdoor eating area right outside the main living area. The pool is lovely for a dip to cool off. There is an outdoor shower next to the pool. There were mosquitos around when we were there in September, so wear mosquito spray and use mosquito repellents indoors. Be especially wary at petrol filling stations: they seem to hang around there waiting for a quick bite. I had a couple of bites just the first day when I wasn't wearing any protection. The party as a whole really liked the house and we had a great stay. We hired cars to get around and I think that these are essential. There is a covered area for parking a car behind a lockable gate, but we just parked our cars on the street outside. From the villa there is a nice walk going north along the seafront and cliffs where you can see dragonflies and butterflies. If you walk far enough you can see seabirds sitting out on the rocks.
Negative: Although the trees at the rear of the property are very nice, they drip sap on the garden furniture. This is very sticky and gets on the hammocks and furniture. I love the trees though so please do not cut them down!
