Positive: The villa and pool looks beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. Location wise is only a 10 min drive to Terrasini centre and the surrounding area. Very easy to get to in terms of connection from and to the airport. The pool was very nice and cooiling in the 33 degs + heat!
Negative: From day 1 we had underlying issues with the utilities at the property. Woke up after arriving at the property the day before to no water from any tap. Called host and within an hour someone came out to check and found out that electric pump for pool was broken and would need fixing. Temp fix so that we could still get water to all other taps (still not sure why this stopped all water for property!). Whilst workmen were fixing pump we then started to get issues with electrics and fuse box with the outside gate not working. Host had shared a picture of fusebox with various positions on what needed to be on or off. Managed to reset and gate then worked. Over the next few days we had underlying issues with the electrics when using aircon units and the oven so that various fuses would blow and need resetting. Told that we shouldnt have more than one aircon unit on if using the oven. On one instance entire electrics went for entire property. Contacted host again and after an hour someone else came out and stated that there is another fuse box outside of the property that also could reset the house. Also during the holiday after first few days we noticed water and a large yellow stain from one of the bedroom aircon units. Told the host and they stated that we can continue to use and they would resolve after we left. The units in the bedrooms didnt really cool us down during the night as not placed correctly for sleeping and not powerful enough. In the end we decided not to cook in the property because of the hassle or likelihood of fuses going off and having to turn off aircon units when it was very hot 34 deg +. Also during the stay the water for the pool dropped considerably and we were told we could fill ourselves which we did to avoid noisy gurgling from the pool. Overall the holiday was not as relaxing as we would have liked due to issues with these utilities. The host tried to help where possible and maybe could have been more upfront about the state of electrics.
Summary: Style over substance....great looking villa and pool but underlying issues
