Positive: The lady we met at check-in was very friendly and kind, the check-in process was easy and smooth, parking was a little tight (but always available), the room was very clean, equipped with many amenities for a comfortable stay. The rock in the bedroom and bathroom was a striking and beautiful feature of the room. The owners have tastefully decorated the room and provide ample outdoor space even for the rooms that do not have their own balcony. We chose this property based on its proximity to a diving center, as we had to wake up early every day for diving.
Negative: We were given a different room to the one we booked: the one we booked through booking.com was a top floor apartment (based on the photos for that particular room); instead we were given a ground floor apartment that was a) dark and b) noisy because of upstairs late noise & dragging of chairs (it was right below a balcony) and the fact that it was next to a parking spot, so any late ins-and-outs were waking us up (right outside our bedroom window). This was very important for us, as we needed a restful sleep prior to our early morning dives. The owner said that what we paid was for a ground floor apartment, however the original price quoted on booking.com was that for a top floor apartment, that was reduced by 40% as a last minute booking. This mismatch needs to be sorted out between booking.com and the property, as it can be misleading and lead to a negative experience in an otherwise well maintained property. Also, please note that you have to call the property first to get the right parking directions, as the Google maps location is wrong and on a very difficult to ascend by car road (we almost damaged our disc brake!).
