This is the perfect location for all things UVA!!! Walk down Rugby to Jefferson's Rotunda and the Corner. A quick drive or Trolley (verify times) leads to nearby acclaimed restaurants on Main St and entertainment at the downtown pedestrian mall. This sophisticated 2017 stucco European-style home tastefully blends natural stone, reclaimed wood, and hand-forged copper elements.
The dramatic, rustic kitchen features black, hand-sewn oak cabinets, Bosch/Dacor appliances, copper sinks, reclaimed wood and granite tops, central island and a hand forged copper hood. The open plan flows to the spacious family room with ceiling beams and a stone rear wall. An adjacent sunroom carries the stone walled theme, capturing the natural light. The formal dining and livings rooms are tastefully appointed with built-ins and an old-world simulated tin ceiling. The outdoor spaces are inviting-there is a covered side porch perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. There is also a rear pergola covered bluestone patio with outdoor fireplace, wonderful for entertaining. Kindly respect the neighborhood noise ordinances, 9pm-9am.
The 6200 FSF, 5 Bedroom luxury home features 2 King bedrooms, 2 Queen bedrooms and a large open 3rd floor with 1 king and 1 queen sized beds, each tucked into a private dormer space, unseen by the other. (The MABR is not offered-locked for personal storage). Luxurious living continues outside with a side, covered porch with arched openings and custom privacy shades-featuring comfortable outdoor furniture. The rear features an awesome bluestone patio with pergola and bamboo roof, offering an expansive eucalyptus dining table and separate outdoor seating area. The fenced yard protects your privacy. (Outdoor fireplace is available for use but indoor fireplaces is NOT due to insurance-so sorry).
There is also an on-site studio offered for rent. One parking spot reserved for studio guest in turnaround.
