Enjoy all that Sanibel Island has to offer at the West End Paradise. Our charming cottage style accommodations offer a serene and tropical setting with mature foliage, pond with birds and turtles and we're just a short walk to the private Tradewinds beach. Unit "Starfish 1" is a hotel style room with a king sized bed, microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker. There is a full bathroom in the room as well. Need more room? ... add unit "Turtle 2" for an additional bedroom with queen sized bed, full bathroom, living/dining areas, full kitchen and screened lanai. All of our units come with beach towels, access to the charcoal bbq grill, outdoor seating, high speed wireless internet, cable TV and air conditioning for those tropical Island summers. This unit is perfect for a couple wanting to enjoy a quick Island getaway. Only one parking space per unit.

Summary: Property was very clean. Great location close to Captiva and Sanibel. Bathroom was nice and clean. Only complaints: 1. Beach Parking Pass is ONLY for use on the property’s beach access. I wish this was more clearly stated on the room literature as we found this out the hard way! $150 parking ticket! 2. The bed is awful. Not very comfortable at all. That’s about it. The space is small, like a budget hotel room small. But we didn’t spend a lot of time there. Between the bed and one very uncomfortable chair there was no place in the room to get comfortable for me. 3. The bikes that are supplied are old and not in great working order ( The pedal kept falling off one of them! ) Sanibel/Captiva is a beautiful place. If you’re looking for a 5 Star Resort keep looking. (And there are lots of them on this Island but big $$$$) This is a nice hotel room on a beautiful beach for a reasonable price. I probably wouldn’t choose this again but we did have a great time!
