Perched right in the heart of Ohio's Wine Country, this classic farmhouse is the perfect base for groups or families looking for the ultimate combination of privacy and location. With over 20 wineries less than 10 minutes away there's no shortage of good food and drink nearby. Come home and enjoy the stars in the country sky, the calm of 16 secluded acres, and quality time in the spacious living areas.
The Space:
You'll be staying in an authentic 19th Century farmhouse sitting on 16 acres that has been updated throughout the years but still maintains a lot of its original character. It also has plenty of quirks, so please understand that the house is by no means perfect, but we think you'll find that it adds to the charm and experience. The home is decorated with real antiques but furnished with modern pieces to ensure your comfort.
We've got enough space for up to 13 people across 9 beds in 5 bedrooms, plus the largest couch you've probably ever seen and a gigantic live-edge dining table to accommodate the entire crew. The kitchen is fully stocked if you decide to stay home and cook, and the deck and front porch are great places to relax and breathe the country air. You'll even find a little coffee nook in the second floor foyer where you can start your morning or enjoy a glass a wine before heading out for the evening.

The Neighborhood:
You'll be in a relatively sparsely populated area with plenty of privacy. The lots are large and the neighbors are pretty far away and keep to themselves. It's a pretty great place to get away from it all.
Getting Around:
You're in a pretty rural area so driving is typically the best option. There are several local providers of wine tours and party buses if that's your scene. Sunset Taxi is a good alternative for those who don't want to drive.

Summary: Overall we were very pleased with the stay. We had an issue where the oven wouldn’t maintain heat and some of the pots/pans were dirty that were in the drawers but to be fair I’m sure it wasn’t anything done intentionally. The rest of the house was extremely clean. Bathrooms clean. Extremely roomy for several girls. It was a nice quiet area and we would definitely book again.
