This is not your typical 3 bedroom/ 2 bath Big Bear cabin. We have updated every area of the house:
Beautiful open Kitchen with new appliances and everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal.
***No Smoking in the cabin.
***Located in popular Lower Moonridge.
***Jetted Hot Tub on wooden deck.
***Shuffleboard table with various board games.
2 Smart LCD TVs stream Spectrum Cable, Netflix and your favorite smart channels.
We come up to Big Bear a few times every winter and we could never find a place we liked in our price range. Most were outdated, cramped, dark, musky smelling and some of the drive-ways were so sketchy.
You will find none of that here! You won't regret staying here :-)
Beautiful vaulted wooden ceilings. Open floor plan. Large Bedrooms. Comfortable beds and completely remodeled bathrooms in 2019. Lots of parking and we easily have room for your boat or RV. Your well-behaved and house-trained pooch is welcome with a $100 one-time pet fee per dog or cat that must be paid prior to check-in. The front deck is the perfect for your well behaved dog to overlook the area, watch the many squirrels and blue jays. Our back yard is fenced so your pet can roam unsupervised.

We have a local handyman, spa guy and housekeeper on call should they be needed.
Location, location, location! You will be on a quiet street in Moonridge, just a couple minutes to Bear Mountain, the Zoo and the Golf Course.
Uber and Lyft are available in the area.
The Good Neighbor Policy needs to be signed by all adult guests. Effective September 15, 2021, a Good Neighbor Policy must be signed by each responsible party during the in-person check-in process and prior to occupancy. Look up "Good Neighbor Policy Big Bear" to see what is included in the new city rules.
Big bear lake does not have trash service for short term rentals so every guest must take all their trash with them. Don’t worry it’s SUPER easy as the place to drop it off is right off Moonridge and Big Bear Highway - you drive Moonridge through Big Bear Highway and it then turns into Garstin. You won't even have to get out of your vehicle, drive thru and throw it in one of the many open dumpsters. Our house cleaners charge us $25 per bag of trash you leave, which we will in turn charge you. Take it, it's easy breezy - I promise!
The hot tub is already heated and set at 80. If you prefer it warmer adjust the heat upon arrival, it may take a couple hours to get to the desired setting. Simply push the jets button and you have the ability to change the light settings as well.
Also, put all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on before you leave. NO need to make sure the dishwasher is empty, just load it and start it - we will unload it and put them away. If you forget our cleaners charge us $25 to wash the dishes by hand which we will in turn charge you - the dishes are probably already in the dishwasher - please don't forget to start it :-)
We will have someone there to check you in and have each adult sign the Good Neighbor Policy as required by Big Bear Lake. These rules are strictly enforced by the city of Big Bear Code Enforcement and they have the ability to fine and evict you and your guests for non-compliance.
Highlights of the rules:
Maximum occupancy 7 people, infants are included in that count. This number is the maximum for anytime during your stay. If you have visitors wanting to come over you still are not allowed to exceed the maximum occupancy at anytime during your stay.
Maximum vehicles allowed on premises - three.
Quiet hours begin at 10pm and go until 7am.
The hot tub/ jacuzzi cannot be used during quiet hours, from 10pm-7am.
We have had numerous issues with the hot tub. If you plan on using the hot tub, please take a photo before use and send it to us through Airbnb and one picture before you check out. Also, $200.00 will be charged to you should the hot tub require draining, cleaning and refill due to you or your guests negligence. Never use soaps, shampoos, bubble bath or any product that creates suds as this can damage the spa/hot tub. The chemical balance of a spa/hot tub is constantly measured and can change due to alcohol, urine, cleaning materials, lotions, etc. and can easily trigger the necessity for a drain, refill and scrub. It is recommended you shower/ rinse prior to entering the hot tub.
There is a $195 pet fee if you plan on bringing a pet, you must pay prior to checking.
No pets allowed on the beds or furniture. We have had numerous issues with a few not so good pet owners, please make sure your pet does not damage our place, we would hate to stop allowing pets. Please pick up your pets waste, should the cleaners have to do it you will be charged $25 that they bill us. It is suggested that you not leave your pet alone as you could be fined or evicted if someone complains about a barking dog while you are away.
