Positive: Superb location right on the quayside overlooking the harbour and next to Looe's main beach. The cottage has a level walk (rare for Looe) to all of the town's shops, cafes and restaurants. The balcony which leads off the second floor sitting room is a great place to sit and watch the world go by and the passing river traffic. In mid-September, Looe's beautiful main beach is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the ebb and flow of the tide and the coastal light is spectacular. To have all this right next to your holiday cottage is a real joy and privilege. The cottage has great charm and character as well as a smart, well-equipped and roomy modern kitchen/dining room. A really comfortable haven, whatever the Cornish weather throws at you.

Negative: The parking, as for the vast majority of period homes in Looe is a fifteen minute walk to the Millpool public car park (£26 per week in September 2025). The owners indicate that you can pull up outside the cottage to unload and load the car. A small drawback for a stay in such an exceptional location and something that all Cornish coastal villages share. Looe's Millpool car park is vast so you won't need to spend ages driving around in vain for a space like St.Ives, Padstow and many more coastal honeypots!
