The Linney is one of two cottages set in 4 acres of beautiful, peaceful gardens with pond, surrounding the owner’s Grade II listed manor house which has been in existence since 1066! External steps take you to the stable door entrance on the first floor where you will find the kitchen/dining room on a mezzanine level overlooking the living room below. Well-equipped and with plenty of storage you will enjoy cooking up a feast in this kitchen. The twin room with en-suite bathroom can also be found on the first floor. Downstairs you enter the sumptuous living room with electric fire and wall mounted TV, perfect for gathering and cosying up at the end of the day. Also on the ground floor is the double bedroom and additional shower room. Patio doors lead from both the living room and double bedroom into the courtyard garden.
Less than 10 minutes’ drive from the nearest sandy cove on the beautiful south Cornish coast, this AONB offers excellent walking, with pretty beaches, sailing and river trips at Fowey (5 miles) and Mevagissey (11 miles). Sailing tuition is available at Fowey. Bird-watching and fishing at Luxulyan and on the Fowey river. Golf at Carlyon Bay (3 miles), horse riding and the old port of Charlestown and St Austell, all within 5 miles. Shop 1½ miles.
