Firstly, enter the hallway with the well-equipped modern kitchen to your left and cloakroom to your right. Straight ahead is the tastefully furnished living/dining room, lovingly decorated and designed with your comfort in mind. Ivy Cottage has very comfortable soft seating in the living room for 4 adults (with other seating options including dining chairs with cushions, tall bar stools and a small soft chair). Why not light the wood burner and get the fire roaring whilst you put the kettle on? The back door off the living room opens into an enclosed south facing courtyard with stunning views onto the hilltops of Wharfedale. Add a little sunshine to the mix and it’s Yorkshire at its best. Upstairs there are three comfortable, good quality bedrooms and a family bathroom. Children are very welcome, but please note there are two tall bar tables with tall stools (one in the kitchen and one in the living room) which may not be suitable for small children.
For those of you who are keen walkers and cyclists, there are a multitude of options available right on your doorstep in just about every direction. There is a fine pub serving food just around the corner from Ivy Cottage, and a village store and pubs which also serve food in nearby Kettlewell.
